Grape Variety: Primitivo

Region: Puglia (Italy) - DOC

Winemaking process: Selective manual harvesting, vinified, crushed and destalked, macerated at a controlled temperature followed by soft pressing. The wine is then refined in small, French wooden barrels for a brief period. Bottles are stored underground at a temperature of 14°C.

Color: Powerful ruby red with violet flecks

Bouquet: Intense, mature fruit aromas of cherry, enhanced by overtones of raspberry and blackberry with a slight spicy note

Taste: Acidity is well-balanced with a noble, well-proportioned tannin flavor. This young, fragrant, clean wine tastes of cherries and coffee with velvety softness.

Alcohol content: 13,5 %

Food matching: An excellent match for roasted and braised meats, hot or cold, poultry, game and semi-seasoned cheeses.

Serving temperature: 60 to 64 F
